Why should I buy Black Crickets ?

Black crickets in general make a great choice for Bearded Dragons, Water Dragons, Chameleons, Leopard Geckos, Crested Geckos, Tree Fogs and many more species of reptiles and amphibians. They are also commonly fed to frogs and even some species of birds. The crickets are quite large and meaty while offering more nutrition than the Brown crickets, making them the ideal choice for a staple diet full of vitamins and nutrients.

How long do Black field crickets live?

We send our Black crickets to you via a fast delivery service to guarantee you receive them young and with plenty of time to serve. Live crickets will stay healthy for around a month as long as they have been gutloaded and kept in good conditions with plenty of food and water avalible at all times.

What can I feed / gutload Black crickets?

Black crickets will eat practically most fruits and vegetables, however, the best thing to give them is bran or olled oats. Cereals and grains give them lots of energy to develop into a stronger feeder insect. Alternitivly you can use our pre made supplement products like the Arcadia Insect Fule which you can find in our supplement section on our website.  Before feeding your pet, you should feed the crickets high-vitamin fruits and use calcium powder to dust them prior to feeding to your animals, offering as much nutrition as possible to your pet.

If you decide to change your mind about any item you have purchased, provided it is otherwise in pristine condition and unused we are happy to accept a return for either a refund or store credit within 30 days of placing your order. Please Note that this does NOT cover livestock, Live foods or Frozen Foods, as there is a separate guarantee for this. Requests must be made by email within 14 days of delivery. In addition to this all return delivery costs to us are the customers full responsibility.

We want you to be confident your live-food will arrive fresh and live... the insects we post for on the overwhelming majority of orders do just that.

Occasionally though, humidity, delays or temperature can cause issues.

If that happens, don't panic: simply email us a photo showing the problem, within 24 hours of receipt, we'll replace them free of charge. It really is that simple.
